KYRGYZSTAN: «THE GREAT TYAN-SHAN» ADVENTURE TOUR 

Central Asian Ring Tour is one of the most interesting of our tours. In this round, we included the most vivid countries of Central Asia as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and of course the great Pamir and bound them with the most interesting roads and sights.

This is not a usual motorcycle tour. This is a challenge for those who’re ready for adventures. This tour requires for endurance and fortitude. Riders should be ready for the bad weather and road conditions. Some of the roads are one of the most difficult and utmost in the world. The riders should be physically strong, to be healthy and eager to manage with any difficulties that might appear. The accommodation conditions vary from the luxurious to the quit disappointing .

Roads

M39, M34 This transport routes of international importance. The roads are not wide and have heavy traffic because have a lot of trucks and buses. Plus, many rural drivers who run the machine is extremely dangerous. So YOU MUST BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL and cautious careful in driving a motorcycle on these roads. Also Should Look carefully for road signs. Much of the route runs on good asphalt roads. The exceptions are the mountain Pamir's passes. Severe natural conditions and poor funding makes this road difficult passable. In general, the quality of roads is not permanent. Sometimes be scheduled road repairs, Possible heavy rains can wash away some stretches of road and river bridges are broken. In this connection, the route can be changed radically. To this must be prepared.

Distance

Some part of this route has long distance . So you have to be ready for early wake up and arrive late.

Accommodation

Living conditions are different, from a comfortable hotel in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to the poor guest houses in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. For example, you should be ready in the guest houses, Dushanbe, Kalaikhum, Khorog Murghab traditionally sleep on mattresses on the floor. In Kalaikhum, Khorog Murghab and Gulcha limited electricity and no shower. Of course this is largely due to low levels of these economies. But people are very friendly and hospitable.

In the Fan Mountains, we'"ll do campground. We have a double tents, mattresses and sleeping bags is enough for everyone. But if you want to use your own sleeping bag, tent or mattress please let us know in advance that you take.

Health

You must be willing to alpine. The route passes the Pamirs at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level up to 4600 meters. If you feel bad at this altitude you should take the necessary medications before.

Visa

We don't make support for any visa-related activities. You need to take care by yourself to contact Embassies of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in your country to obtain visas.

In this tour you will need following visas:
• Kazakh double-entry visa;
• Uzbek double-entry visa;
• Tajik single-entry and permission GBAO;
• Kyrgyz single-entry.

When obtaining visas, you should carefully check the dates on visas. It should match the dates of our route.

What to wear?

Helmet

It's better to have an integral, flip-up or touring styled helmet, but do not MX or open-face type, because in the mountains you can feel freezing rain, snow, wind and dust, which may make your face vulnerable.

Jacket

If you use the jacket as a major shalt for a trip on a motorcycle, then it should have built-in protection - elbows, back, shoulders. Would be nice if jacket has a double layer, which can detach during a hot period of the day, and fasten upon the occurrence of cold.

If you don't have jackets with built-in, you can use motocross armor. In this case, you can use the following combination of comfort:

FOR COLD DAY - motocross armor + simple jacket (without protection)

Shoes

You can use different shoes - shoes, touring boots or motocross boots. The main thing that they would protect your feet and comfortable for switch gear.

Pants

You can use the enduro pants with built knees protection

If you don't have such pants with built knees protection you can use just jeans or MX pants but have to use knee pads

What should you bring?

You can bring any number of things in Almaty, but the baggage of participants which will be in the car support is limited. The weight of your bags that you take the tour should not exceed 10 kg. And that means you have to take only the essentials.

1. Headdress: a cap or hat for the warm days and cool knit cap;
2. Shoes: Sandals or slates for resorts, boots or sneakers for the prom;
3. Clothes: a few T-shirts, a few spare socks, jeans, shorts, swimming trunks, a warm sweater, light jacket;
4. Towel and toiletries.
5. Sunglasses.
6. Sunscreen.
7. Antimaskitos spray
8. Necessary medications if you need them.
9. Photo or video camera.
10. Flashlight
11. Raincoat. Use a strong rain gear - waterproof prolonged rain.
12. If you want to take your own tent and sleeping bag, no problem. But it should be light and compact. If you do not have it you should notify us in advance.

Please use soft, compact bag for tour. Do not use bulky suitcases.

You can leave excess clothes and bags in our office in Almaty to return.

P.S. You can also bring a variety of inexpensive gifts. People (owners of guest houses, children, policemen and border guards) love getting all sorts of gadgets.
